Has Tardis Type 40 outlived its usefulness?
It was created as a refuge when DW2005 had become unpleasant. Things seem to have stayed calm there. And things here are pretty slow.
Would we be better off with one less DW forum?

No of course not Prof, things seem slow on all the forums so don't be too disheartened, there isn't much traffic on DW2005 either these days I like it here, it's a nice small friendly group please don't think of getting rid of this forum

It's not that I'm disheartened. I'm just wondering if we are all too spread out.

I don't think so I think the smaller forums have a nice family feel to them, we have some really nice, friendly members here

I don't think its a case of being spread out. Since the fighting on DW2005 and the creation of this forum, more fights have happend on LM with more members quitting. I think that those who choose not to post these days have been scared away. The Final Frontier, although growing almost daily has been very quiet these few weeks, even though new members are signing up, they haven't been posting.
I have been sending out e-mails to those who have never made a post or have only made a few to see if they will come back.
LM and N&B are both quiet too.
Prof, don't take it to heart. It will pick up again. I look at this forum daily and post when something new has been posted. But, I admit, the lack of people to chat to sometimes is really frustrating.

I appreciate your input. I just feel our community has been stretched thin because of the time commitment required to check all the forums. I haven't visited LM, 9&B or TFF nearly as much as I'd like. I miss many of our old friends. So, I wouldn't mind merging.

The thing is many of our old friends have stopped posting.
How would a merger work?

I loves this forum. It's natty and well-designed. An oasis in a sea of Who. I likes it.
